4. Shayna Baszler Vs Io Shirai For The NXT Women's Championship
Io Shirai is an absolute legend of Japanese wrestling.
The biggest star in the history of the Stardom promotion, Shirai is easily one of the most decorated female wrestlers in Japanese history, and when she turned up in WWE for this year's Mae Young Classic, it was great news for everyone.
Shirai has already made her presence felt in NXT, coming to the aid of Kairi Sane in her TakeOver: WarGames match against Baszler. It's clear from this that NXT want to throw her into the mix for the Women's Championship and they have plenty of time to tell that story in the build up to TakeOver: New Jersey.
Io Shirai has all the tools to lead NXT's Women's Division into a new era alongside the likes of Storm, Dakota Kai, Bianca Belair, Mia Yim and many, many more.
On the obverse, Baszler is clearly not long for NXT, as WWE will be keen to unite her and the rest of the Horsewomen with Ronda Rousey on Raw. The time to take the belt off of her is soon and, whether it be Storm or Shirai, NXT have plenty of contenders to take her place.
