Bray Wyatt has told ESPN's Arda Ocal that he doesn't think WWE should book an endless stream of cinematic matches.

Cinematic-style bouts have become more popular during the 'empty arena' era - WWE have sought out different ways to try and keep programming interesting, and such pre-taped bouts are an easy way to do that. Bray agrees with that, but thinks the company should only book a few "here and there" rather than relying on them monthly.

Wyatt himself has been involved in several cinematic matches, including his 'Firefly Fun House' fight with John Cena at WrestleMania 36 and the 'Swamp Fight' at Extreme Rules against Braun Strowman. Before that, Bray had also worked a cinematic-style brawl with Matt Hardy and a 'House Of Horrors' shindig with Randy Orton.

However, Bray's thoughts on these specials changed after seeing The Undertaker's 'Boneyard' belter with AJ Styles at 'Mania earlier this year. He doesn't think anyone can top what those guys achieved together.

Wyatt described cinematic matches as "finite". They're good every now and then, but he much prefers to work in front of large crowds where possible.
