The AEW Women's World Champion unloaded both barrels on WWE's shady dealings at Road Rager.

In a move sure to draw a typically calm and measured response from pro wrestling fans across the internet, Britt Baker took a shot at WWE's dealings with Saudi Arabia during last night's AEW Dynamite Road Rager special.

The line came while Baker was cutting a promo on Nyla Rose, Vickie Guerrero, and Tony Khan, following on from Rebel's injury while breaking Rose's fall on Britt in last week's tag team match. Baker questioned the match's existence, claiming Khan only put it together because he had to repay Vickie for bringing Andrade El Idolo into the company.

"Reba's knee exploded in a clearly calculated attack and I almost died in a two-on-one ambush being powerbombed through a table, but hey, you have Andrade El Idolo, so enjoy your blood money," Baker said. "Maybe next week, AEW Dynamite can run in Saudi Arabia!".

WWE's dealings in Saudi Arabia have attracted mass criticism from the moment the promotion's deal with the Saudi General Sports Authority was first announced in 2018. This is partly on account of the human rights situation in the nation, where homosexual intercourse is potentially punishable by death and women weren't allowed to wrestle on the first few cards.

The criticism was particularly strong around Crown Jewel 2018, as the event coincided with the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who is believed to have been assassinated inside Turkey's Saudi consulate one month before the show. That WWE earns hefty paydays from the same government accused of this terrible act put pressure on them to cancel the event.
