Brock Lesnar: 5 Awesome WWE Matches And 5 That Sucked

3. Brock Lesnar Vs CM Punk (SummerSlam 2013)

The match billed as €œThe Best vs The Beast€ was one of the most anticipated fresh matches in recent WWE history as the two €œPaul Heyman Guys€ clashed for the first time ever. And what a clash it was! Similar to Brock€™s match with Eddie Guerrero, the much smaller Punk had to rely on speed and quickness to evade the power moves of Lesnar. Punk also had to use all of his Brazilian Jujitsu training to match strikes with the former UFC Champion. It was an uphill battle. Taking everything Brock had to offer and standing tall, Punk was permitted to kick out of the F-5 and escape the Kimura Lock. He was also granted an excuse when Paul Heyman interrupted the referees three count, after he hit Brock with the GTS. All steps to ensure that Punk looked like Lesnars equal even in defeat. It was only after a devastating F-5 on a steel chair that Punk stayed down for three. Thus Lesnar was victorious in WWE€™s finest match of 2013, and one of the best in his career.

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
