Brock Lesnar Not Scheduled For WWE TV Until 2017

Just one non-televised house show is all that we'll get of The Beast the rest of this year.

Outside of one non-televised house show in Mexico City where he's booked to compete against Rusev, Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to appear for WWE for the remainder of 2016.

This is nothing new for Lesnar whose contract calls for him to have extended periods of absence from company programming, but the timing is bad from a fan perspective.

Coming off the most shocking match result since Brock himself ended The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania, the audience is already anticipating the next confrontation between The Beast and the man who just squashed him at Survivor Series. Goldberg appeared on this week's Raw to announce that he will enter the 2017 Royal Rumble in an attempt to see if he's got "one more title run in him", while neither Lesnar nor his advocate Paul Heyman had a presence on the show.

The thought that we as fans will have to wait quite a while to see any resolution to the startling outcome of their Survivor Series bout is either maddening or brilliant depending on your perspective, but anyone who was hoping to see the two monsters lock horns again anytime soon can go ahead and prepare themselves to be disappointed. However it is expected that Brock Lesnar will work the Royal Rumble show and the fallout from Survivor Series will likely be dealt with during the build to WWE's #2 event.
