The list began with a UFC fight, so it may as well end with one too. When Lesnar lost to Frank Mir in his debut UFC bout by tapping out to a kneebar, a lot of the critics felt pretty smug thinking that Lesnar wouldnt make it as a UFC star. It was a bad first impression, and more people would probably walk away after suffering such an embarrassing loss, but not Lesnar. Brock dusted himself off and went on to his next match. He won the match, and then found himself getting a title shot against Couture. As explained earlier, Couture got the title pounded off of him, and Lesnars first title defense was against Mir.Lesnar/Mir 2 would prove to be a very brutal, very gory fight for Mir. While Mir managed to get by with a submission the first time around, Lesnar was having none of that in this bout. He used his powerful punches to decimate Mir into a bloody mess before getting the TKO victory. Lesnar managed to redeem his loss in the most powerful and effective way possible, and once again showed the world that even when hes down, hes most certainly not out.
