10. Bad News Barrett

Though he is currently injured, Barrett is anticipating a return to the WWE in December; a perfect time to pit him against Brock at the Royal Rumble. One thing that WWE booking is missing are those one-off world title matches, the moments where a seemingly random wrestler gets called up to work a match with the champion. As a viewer, the surprise of seeing someone thrown into the title picture is kind of exciting. It's unlikely they'll ever win, but getting to work with the champion is never a bad thing. Barrett returning from an injury and completely bypassing a return match for the Intercontinental Championship would make for exciting television, and bring back some of that unpredictability that is missing. It could even happen on an episode of Raw, as the ever-changing audience expectations of the WWE are in a seismic shift that paint traditional bad guys like Barrett as anti-heroes. Bonus points if it happens on a UK taping of Raw.
