9. Vs. The Rock - SummerSlam 2002

The night that Brock's legacy began proper was the night he dethroned The Rock and won the WWE Undisputed Championship, becoming the youngest person in history (at that point) to do so. That he did so in a great, well-received match was the icing on top of the cake. WWE opted to go for a pure sports buildup for Rock versus Brock, showing the two men training hard and talking about it as though it was more of a, you know, wrestling match than a 'sports entertainment' endeavour. Lesnar won clean, in a match that saw the crowd turn slightly on the soon departing for Hollywood Rock. It might not seem like it now, given how quickly Lesnar adapted to life on top, but at the time putting the title on him was a gamble and there were questions over whether or not he could carry it.
