Bron Breakker DESTROYS Roman Reigns, Joins With Paul Heyman & Seth Rollins (WWE News)

The Raw after WrestleMania is BACK...

Building on the events of WrestleMania Night 1, Paul Heyman looks to be in the process of building a new heel stable to dominate WWE in this post-Bloodline era of programming.

At 'Mania, Heyman, aligning himself with Seth Rollins, swerve-turned on both Roman Reigns and CM Punk. The new heel force cut a promo in the main event segment of Raw, the content of which was minimal. Little was given away; just as Seth bragged about being a "Visionary" and winning the main event of WrestleMania, CM Punk interrupted. Punk got the better of Seth in the resulting brawl, but laid him out after Rollins had turned his attention towards Heyman. It was then the turn of Roman Reigns to gain a measure of revenge, but before he could enact it, Bron Breakker arrived on the scene and flattened him a spear. Turning from tweener to full heel, Bron embraced Rollins and Heyman, leading many enthused fans online to fantasy book a sort of 'Dangerous Alliance 2.0' - a reboot of Heyman's legendary, short-lived WCW faction.

Opinion: The Raw After WrestleMania Is BACK - But Is WWE?

On last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE brought back a much-missed tradition: a landscape-shifting night of turns, returns and momentous angles.

If the events of January 6 to April 20 felt like a dominant dynasty team failing to regain the championship, the Raw after WrestleMania was a thumping win to kickstart a new, promising season. The much-discussed decline of the Paul Levesque Era may well turn out to be a blip. This angle was red-hot and unexpected.

A new stable, while hardly revolutionary, is a strong tactic. It is April; already, one can forecast this new Heyman group facing off against a babyface squad at Survivor Series; WarGames in November. Factions breed long-term storytelling; Rollins Vs. Breakker is an obvious destination, one WWE can wait at least 18 months to initiate.

Evidence, obviously, is too scant to evaluate this properly. Is Rollins, perennially not the top guy, really the best choice to lead WWE programming in 2025? Bron revealed himself by peeling back a black hood: cute callback to the Bloodline, or more evidence that WWE has ran out of new ideas?

This will all be revealed - but for now, after a bruising weekend, WWE has reignited hope that patient, long-term storytelling isn't dead yet,
