It's a sign of the buzz surrounding All In that the event managed to sell out with only one match being formally announced. Even then, only one half of the match has been revealed.

Cody will challenge for the NWA World Heavyweight Title on the show.

That's it: that's all fans and the media were told at the Bullet Club's press conference. There was no commitment to Nick Aldis (the current reigning champion) being involved, an old-school move, and a good one. Cody and Billy Corgan kept cards close to their chests, potentially keeping people guessing that a higher-profile name than Aldis may be champ by the time 1 September rolls around.

Could this be the group's way of teasing fans? It wouldn't be the first time (more on that later), and it does make sense to avoid advertising Aldis on the off chance he drops the belt before All In. Besides, Cody clearly loves the NWA's heritage, and that was arguably a more important message than who he'd be facing on the night.
