5. Adam Driver - Bret Hart

And now we have the role that would single-handedly make or break the movie: the "target" of the Screwjob himself, Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

Given the major emotional turmoil Hart was put through during the Screwjob and its fallout, the part requires an actor with tremendous emotional range, who can vacillate between palpable rage and more smouldering, contained anguish.

And who, really, is a better fit than rising star Adam Driver? He's got a similar facial structure to Bret, his shirtless scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi proved he could get into great shape, and he's got a knack for playing things subtle while hinting at far more going on behind the eyes. Much like Bret, he's also handsome and likeable, yet not overly extroverted or animated.

It's incredibly easy to picture him wearing the Hitman glasses and filling out Hart's attire perfectly.
