CFO$'s 20 Best WWE Themes

4. Roar Of The Crowd - NXT

Roar of the Crowd was the official theme of NXT's ascendancy, the music that played before Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, and the Four Horsewomen proved that magic could happen between those yellow ropes. That was the generation that made NXT what it was, and this music will always feel like THE NXT theme.

After all, the lyrics describe the relationship between a performer and the audience from which he draws energy, eminently appropriate for a promotion like NXT. The unique role of the Full Sail faithful in creating the original pantheon of NXT stars is a vital part of their history, something immortalized in the slogan, "We are NXT."

Conspiracy theory: WWE eventually added the goofy PEW PEW laser sound effects so everyone would get sick of it and complain less when they switched to the current, definitely lesser theme.
