CFO$'s 20 Best WWE Themes
3. Phenomenal - AJ Styles
After ten years of AJ Styles coming to the ring to variations of Dale Oliver's I Am, a lot of fans didn't immediately realize what was happening when a church organ began playing at the 2015 Royal Rumble. A year and a half later, CFO$' Phenomenal feels like the AJ Styles theme he always deserved, which is fitting, as it took WWE to give AJ himself the platform he deserved to prove just how good he is.
Aside from jiving with Styles in a general sense, the theme also contains several more subtle nods to different aspects of the Phenomenal One's persona. It begins with the aforementioned church organ, referencing Styles' well-known religiousness, and then mixes in the sound of glass shattering, a musical reference to WWE's last great redneck superstar, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
And, while it's definitely not intentional, it's certainly amusing that there's a Mick Foley-style car wreck foleyed (heh) into the mix. It's ancient history now, but back in 2006, Batista once dismissed TNA's then-red hot X-Division as "those AJ Styles car crash matches."
