CFO$'s 20 Best WWE Themes

17. Vau De Vire - The Vaudevillains

The Vaudevillains had a surprisingly large number of themes for a team that ultimately went nowhere. Part of the problem was that WWE could never seem to decide if they were bumbling goons or competent wrestlers, and their musical history reflects that confusion.

First, there was A Quicker Accomplishment, which sounded straight up like accompaniment for a silent film comedy. Charlie Chaplin wasn't known for his fisticuffs, so Gotch and English got saddled with Voix de Ville, which just sounded like William Regal's theme.

The best one was the last, because it's every facet of The 'Villains at the same time. It's a carousel of player piano and ominous organ, and it kind of sounds like something out of Super Mario World. Bonus points for using the title to explore the etymology of a century-dead form of popular entertainment, CFO$!
