14. Sky's The Limit - Sasha Banks

It's rarely addressed today because The Boss is such a fully-realized character, but a big part of what made Sasha Banks work was her evolution. She started her life as a naive babyface not unlike Bayley, before turning to the dark side at the behest of the original queen of NXT, Summer Rae. She spent time as a sycophantic second, gradually developing the confidence she would ultimately embody as The Boss.

This theme tells that story, framing Banks' ascent as an inspiring tale of overcoming adversity, conveniently smoothing over the constant betrayals, sneak attacks, and bouts of petty viciousness that really got her to the top.

Luckily, The Boss is so great that she's basically been a babyface by default ever since TakeOver: Brooklyn, so it all worked out after all.
