Chelsea Green has signed a new multi-year WWE contract.

Fightful Select reports that the former Women's United States Champion had previously been working on a contract that was due to expire later in 2025. She has now re-signed for several years, though there's no word on the exact length.

Chelsea is currently in the midst of her second run with the market-leading promotion, having previously worked for WWE from October 2018 until her April 2021 release. A Ring of Honor stint and return to TNA followed for the 34-year-old, who returned to WWE in January 2023, re-debuting as part of that year's women's Royal Rumble match.

A few months later, Chelsea entered a prominent tag team role alongside Sonya Deville, which ended when Deville suffered a serious ACL injury in August 2023. Green has since found success as a singles act on SmackDown, where she enjoys regular, consistent television time alongside her Secret Hervice of Alba Fyre and Piper Niven.

WWE crowned Chelsea Green its first Women's United States Champion on 14 December 2024, doing so with a tournament finals win over rival Michin. Chelsea reigned for 132 days before dropping the title to Zelina Vega on the 25 April 2025 episode of SmackDown.

That Green has re-signed with WWE is no great surprise. She has been one of WWE's most consistently pushed and promoted SmackDown wrestlers over the past year, drawing plaudits online for her ability to maximise her minutes, regardless of the varying roles she has been asked to play across the card.
