6. Revenge On Kane

The last thing Punk ever did in WWE was start a feud with corporate Kane. It would be a logical piece of the story to resume, especially as Kane cost Punk the Royal Rumble. A straight-forward angle to do at WrestleMania is the Outlaws take Rollins and Ambrose out of the six man match, leaving Kane beating on Roman Reigns with a chair as the referee is down. All of a sudden, huge cheers break out, as someone comes running through the crowd ... jumping the guard-rail it's CM Punk! Punk could then run in and take his revenge for the Rumble, hit Kane with a GTS and pull Reigns over the the monster as the ref recovers. Logically it's the most direct continuation of where we left from January. The problem with this would be, Punk has elevated himself significantly since January. He's arguably became too big for a Kane feud now. There's an irony that Punk not being on TV has made him a huge star compared to what he would have been if he had been on television. We would hope WWE brings Punk in for something bigger than Kane, but this is WWE, they might still think the Kane v Punk feud would be great.
