CM Punk: 10 Reasons WWE Fans Have Turned On Him

1. Fan Selfishness

In contrast to the last page, maybe fans didn't turn on Punk because of his selfishness, maybe they turned on him because of their own selfishness. In today's modern world people are brought up on an instant satisfaction society in which everything is accessible. The digital nature of peoples perversions allows them to gorge on celebrities like never before. Punk encouraged this partly with his own self satisfying tweets throughout the last year, but when he suddenly wanted privacy, he found that fans wouldn't let him have it. Fans felt like they knew Punk from watching hours of WWE tv each week, they felt he owed them an explanation. This fan selfishness has gone as far to fans sitting out his Chicago apartment, leaving the star reportedly living in fear. In this respect, fans turning on Punk is down to their own selfishness. Whether he was right or wrong, it's time to leave the man be. It isn't a time to criticise him, it isn't a time to long for him, it's a time to get behind the excellent men and women who are still with WWE, the people making pro wrestling the greatest form of entertainment there is.
