10. Everyone Loves The Money... Even Punk
Wrestlers that say the money isn't important are not telling the truth. Kevin Nash shoots the truth in an excerpt from this interview:
Yeah, he came back for some money but when youre in that spot and youre just burned out you dont do anybody any good. You dont do yourself any good, you dont do the company any good. Yeah, he missed a payday but Steve missed some paydays too when Steve decided he was burnt out. I commend him. If you dont need them, then you have the power. If you need them, then youre in trouble.
Punk came back for the money in July of 2011, but now he doesn't need it. Regardless, money is calling for his inevitable return and Vince McMahon owns the royalties.
