4. Returns To Ring Of Honor
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWJkbYqvoQ4 CM Punk has always made it clear how he feels about Ring Of Honor wrestling. That is the promotion that launched his legendary career, and where he learned all the ins and outs of the wrestling business. It was reported that Punk demanded to include footage of his ROH feud with Samoa Joe in his Best In The World WWE documentary. This forced the WWE to not only give exposure to the ROH promotion but also to a current TNA Impact wrestler, which is something WWE rarely does. Punk could return to ROH in more of a mentor role for some of the hardest working young talents in the ring today. He would be respected by all in that locker room, and the wrestlers would benefit by having a star like him there. Punk credits a lot of what he learned in the business to Raven, and the feud they had in ROH in early 2003. He was able to pick the brain of a veteran like Raven who was a star in Paul Heyman's ECW, and wrestled in WCW and WWE. Raven was just as eager to work with Punk and give him suggestions in the ring, while sparring on the microphone. While CM Punk is one of the biggest names in wrestling today, don't think that a return to the small indy promotion is out of the picture. In recent months, many big stars have returned back to their ROH roots. AJ Styles was the face of TNA Impact Wrestling, having been there since day one, but he was not able to come to terms with a new contract with that company. Styles is now a part of ROH again, and will soon be joined by two other TNA stars, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Another big name that returned when he was released from his WWE developmental contract was Chris Hero. Punk has history with a lot of the talent from ROH, and had some great feuds with Colt Cabana, AJ Styles and Chris Hero early in his career. Might he end his career in the ring with some of the men that helped him make a name for himself in the business?
