CM Punk: 11 Questions For Where He Goes Next

1. Sitting On His Couch In Chicago

Cm Punk1 "I certainly can't change it by sitting on my couch in Chicago." - CM Punk on his sense of responsibility to the future of WWE, Best In The World documentary. CM Punk famously said that he felt a passion for the wrestling business which stopped him from sitting on his couch in Chicago when he mulled over leaving the WWE in 2011. Three years later and Phil Brooks right now is sat on his couch in Chicago. He obviously doesn't have that same passion for wrestling any more, if he did, he would still be in WWE. Maybe at this point in his life, aged 35 and a multi-millionaire, Brooks wants nothing more than a normal future. He wants to chill out at home, he wants to play his video games, he wants to attend sports events. He certainly doesn't want to be on the road four days a week getting beat up for pay cheques he doesn't really need. The 2 million dollar penthouse he lives in is way more comfortable than his tour bus. Maybe the future of CM Punk is nothing more than living out his days in the privacy and contentment of the life he has earned.
