CM Punk Is Already A HUGE Money-Maker For WWE

The man who once called himself 'One Bill Phil' in AEW is already moving gigantic piles of green in WWE.

PWInsider Elite's Mike Johnson that on his first night back in WWE, Punk's merchandise sales earned the promotion a six-figure sum - such was the excitement surrounding his comeback.

Punk walked back into WWE at last month's Survivor Series 2023 premium live event. It was the first time he'd appeared for the promotion in close to a decade, having famously been fired on his wedding day after a 2014 walkout, and came a little over two months after he had been fired from AEW with cause for brawling with Jack Perry at August's All In pay-per-view.

WWE followed Punk's blockbuster Survivor Series appearance with another on Raw two nights later, where the 45-year-old addressed the fans in a divisive in-ring promo believed to have been cut short due to overruns elsewhere on the show.

Last week, WWE featured Punk on SmackDown and NXT: Deadline, before the Chicagoan pledged his future to Raw on last night's show. Punk also declared himself for the 2024 men's Royal Rumble yesterday, becoming the first wrestler to do so.
