CM Punk Reveals What It Would Take For Him To Wrestle Again

Here's what it'd take to get CM Punk in a WWE or AEW ring, as revealed on Renee Paquette's podcast.

CM Punk was Renee Paquette's guest on the latest episode of her Oral Sessions podcast earlier this week, talking all kinds of topics relating to his career and life in general, including what it would take for him to finally step back in a wrestling ring.

"Without wanting to insult anyone on either side of the fence - any WWE talent or any AEW talent - it would take, above all, an interesting scenario and a story that would be fun to tell," said Punk when asked. "Also, the stupidest amount of money, but they could just save themselves a whole lot of money if they just presented, like, a fun storyline."

At least he's honest.

Punk hasn't competed since scoring his WWE release in early 2014. He returned to the wrestling stratosphere as a panellist on WWE Backstage last year, though his contract was with FOX, not WWE. Regardless, his name will be linked with a return to the ring until he either decides to go for it or becomes physically incapable of lacing up a pair of boots and taking a bump.
