Worse, things could get physical.

Tony Khan lived a PR nightmare once CM Punk started throwing hands with The Elite backstage after All Out 2022. The media scrum had been bad-tempered enough, but then things boiled over when The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega took exception to some of the things Punk had said.

No promoter wants a real backstage fight on their hands. They're few and far between in modern pro wrestling as it is, and WWE prides itself on a professional backstage environment. Triple H will not tolerate anyone scrapping for real in his locker room or behind the curtain at shows, basically.

Could a fight break out? Well, yeah, but only if management doesn't step in before punches get thrown. Things going to the extreme is totally avoidable, and something WWE higher-ups must be mindful of. They don't want wrestlers fighting backstage at WrestleMania mere minutes before a big match, put it that way.
