CM Punk's WrestleMania 41 direction remains unclear, with WWE reportedly weighing up several options for 'The Voice of the Voiceless', including an Undisputed WWE Championship Triple Threat.

During a Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes stated that although Punk entering the expected Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena match (making it a Triple Threat) hasn't been discussed officially, some would prefer this option to Punk being involved in a different three-way with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Rhodes is currently without an Undisputed Title challenger for WrestleMania. Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso will challenge World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at the 19 and 20 April supershow, as confirmed on this Monday's Raw. WWE will use 1 March's Elimination Chamber to determine Rhodes' contender. Punk, Cena, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul have already qualified for the men's EC, with two more to be determined.

PWInsider reported earlier this month that a Punk vs. Rollins vs. Reigns Triple Threat was planned for 'Mania, stemming from the trio's interactions in 1 February's men's Royal Rumble. Punk eliminated a battling Seth and Roman from the match before being put out by Logan Paul. Rollins attacked Reigns afterwards, hitting two Stomps (including one on the steel ring steps) to enable an injury write-off for Roman, who isn't booked for Elimination Chamber.

Punk, who was out of WWE from 2014 to 2023, joined Roman's OG Bloodline group to defeat Solo Sikoa's new Bloodline at Survivor Series 2024. He and Rollins wrestled on Raw's 6 January Netflix premiere, with Punk victorious. Roman's last non-Royal Rumble match with Seth came on WrestleMania 40's first night, when Reigns and The Rock defeated Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
