WWE may be running back the WrestleMania: Night Two main event as the headline attraction for the first ever two-night SummerSlam.

This is per WrestleVotes Radio, who suggested that WWE’s current working plan is to go with a 'Show Of Shows' rematch between John Cena and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2025 for the WWE Championship. This obviously means both 'The Champ' and 'American Nightmare' are likely to win their matches against CM Punk and Randy Orton respectively on Saturday at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

Cena and Punk's divisive programme will mark the first time the 'Voice Of The Voiceless' will work in Saudi Arabia since returning to the company at the 2023 Survivor Series, and Cena's second defence of the title since dethroning Rhodes.

Elsewhere on the show, former Legacy stablemates Rhodes and Orton will do battle for the first time since Cody's 2022 WWE return in a King Of The Ring tournament final to determine a number one contender for the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer', Orton lost to Cena at Backlash in May, so it seems increasingly likely that the big rematch will be the move from the market leader.

The fly in the ointment could be Seth Rollins. Armed with the Money In The Bank contract and status as Monday Night Raw's top full-time heel, Rollins may cash in during or after Night Of Champions' main event in order to claim the gold and potentially insert himself back in at the top of the card. Regardless, the answers to all the above big questions should mostly be provided after Sunday's show.
