8. Brie Bella And Bryan Have Been Together Since 2011
The relationship between Bryan and his soon-to-be wife (at the time of the documentary's filming) Brie Bella is rightly focused on a lot, as he says that not many people realise how long they have actually been together.
In late 2010, Bryan began an angle on WWE TV in which The Bella Twins began competing for his affection. Following the end of the angle in early 2011, it was only a matter of a few weeks before Bryan and Brie got together in real life.
He reveals that this period in 2010/2011 was some of the darkest days of his career, as he struggled to even get on television sometimes, which is unbelievable to think of now considering the massive star he has become. In April 2011, Brie won the Divas Championship, and she details how she felt bittersweet at her success, as Bryan was struggling so much.
One of the Blu-ray exclusive stories features Bryan revealing that his proposal of marriage was halted by the Total Divas producer! He originally planned to propose at the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum in Boston, which is where he had his first date with Brie, but Total Divas said they wanted it for the mid-season finale of series two of the show.
They then concocted a plan to go to Big Sur and stay in an eco-dome cabin, where the producers flew out all members of the couple's immediate family for a surprise engagement dinner in a gorgeous forest lit up with lights. Awww.
