Sami Zayn
If you follow wrestling at all, this name being on the list shouldn't be a surprise. After wrestling for almost a decade, Sami Zayn (formerly El Generico, has put on great work with his ultra-babyface character. If you haven't seen it already, his feud with Kevin Steen is a must for any wrestling fan and showcases just how good he can be in the ring. Still don't believe me? Well take a look at some of his matches since coming to NXT, including matches against Swagger and Cesaro, including a 2 out of 3 falls match that was potentially the best match the WWE had all of last year. The path of debut is easy for this individual. He is a babyface through and through. It doesn't matter if he has a mask on or not or if he is saving Mexican orphans, he has the charisma and stature of a face. The problem here is timing. The WWE is overloaded with midcard faces and needs to do something about this as Sami is waiting for the spot. No one, not even Vince, can deny he is ready. If you still have doubts, check his upcoming match against Cesaro at NXT Arrival. This will tell a lot about when he will be debuting. If he manages to pull out a win, I would say he would debut right after Wrestlemania, probably the Raw after. With the push of Cesaro, a win of him would mean that much, easily. However, if he loses, he will most likely have to wait a while down in Florida. Although a bit of fantasy booking, the best way to debut Zayn is by coming to the aid of Cesaro after he is attacked by Swagger, Coulter, and another superstar who Coulter takes under his wings. A Cesaro face-turn is likely to happen soon, so this wouldn't be utterly shocking. Also given their history together, this could easily happen as they have much respect for each other. However, if Zayn loses to Cesaro on Thursday, I see Zayn debuting in late 2014, most likely in October. Once on the active roster, Zayn will be the perfect type of face to hold the U.S. Title very early on in his run.
Predicted Time of Debut: October, 2014 There are several more stars in the making, including Corey Graves, Tyler Breeze, and Enzo Amore. These names are just a few that you will be hearing more of, but it is best for the WWE to take their time, instead of rushing a ruining a chance for a star to be born.
