Did Vince McMahon 'Stop Caring' Towards The End Of His WWE Career?

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell/Zeb Colter believes Vince McMahon lost his "enthusiasm" and "desire" for company life towards the end of his career pre-retirement.

Mantell told Sportskeeda that there's just no way the 77 year old could keep up his zest for day-to-day business forever, and actually made a great point about just how much creative fuel McMahon has burned through since the 1980s: "It’s like an author writing the same books".

According to Dutch, Vince probably got tired of penning the same old stuff for decades and then hearing younger writers/minds try to change it every single week. That wouldn't have worked for McMahon's alpha male personality, one Mantell reckons might've collided with freshness.

Vince may not have been too receptive to the thought of anybody trying to tweak his ideas either. Dutch touched on by that by suggesting that McMahon's response to changes would've been: "I don’t like this sh*t! Get out of here!".

The ex-WWE boss retired this past July, and Triple H immediately stepped into the breach as his replacement. 'The Game' has had help from both Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan in his new role.
