Dream Casting Netflix's Hulk Hogan Movie

6. Bill Dixon - Rusev

Rusev has already declared his interest in playing basically anyone in the Hogan biopic, but there's a pretty good case that he'd probably be a little too distracting in most of the roles he suggested on Twitter in response to the film's announcement. Also, some of them probably won't be all that pivotal to the film...

Instead, Rusev should be given the key but supporting role of Bill Dixon. His match with Hogan in December 1983 marked the Hulkster's return after a three year hiatus on the back of Rocky III and his fault out with Vince McMahon Sr.

The match marked the evolution in the philosophy of the WWE as Vince McMahon Jr set out the model for expansion and superstar signings that went on to define his dynasty. It's unthinkable that this match wouldn't play a major part in the film's central arc and having someone capable of standing in for Dixon's physicality and also his wrestling ability would add authenticity.

Also, who wouldn't want to see Rusev with Dixon's amazing hair from that match?
