With SummerSlam only a matter of days away, could WWE's Drew McIntyre miss the company's famed Biggest Party of the Summer? Maybe...

Taking place this weekend, SummerSlam 2025 is set to see the Scottish Warrior team with Logan Paul to take on Randy Orton and Jelly Roll. However, McIntyre is currently stuck in England and unable to return to the United States.

Taking to X, Drew revealed that he's been at a friend's wedding in England, but he was stopped from boarding his return flight to the US due to not having his American passport with him.

For those wondering, Fightful Select reports that this is not a work and is instead a very real, very legitimate situation for the three-time WWE World Champion.

This report notes that Drew McIntyre has been a US resident for several years and lives in Nashville, Tennessee. When trying to fly home from England, he was unable to do so with just his British passport. As such, that raises questions over the Scot's status for SummerSlam this weekend.

On that front, WWE sources told Fightful they're confident of this situation being resolved in time for SummerSlam, although the promotion is obviously not pleased that McIntyre is having to go through this situation right now.

As seen above in Drew's X post, he's managed to spin this awkward situation into a promo directed at Jelly Roll, suggesting that the singer pulled a few strings to keep McIntyre detained in the UK, and McIntyre also incorporated some local cows into that promo.

Emanating from New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, the first-ever two-day SummerSlam takes place this weekend, with the McIntyre & Paul vs. Orton & Jelly Roll bout currently scheduled for Saturday.
