In The New Breed

After spending several years in TNA under the moniker of ‘Monty Brown’, Marcus Cor Von debuted on ECW, albeit without his previous gimmick of being ‘an animal from the Serengeti’. Looking like a cross between Big E and Goldberg, it’s not hard to see why the former New England Partiots linebacker was marked for great things when he joined The New Breed. Acting as the stable’s enforcer, Cor Von spoke with the fire and intensity of a young Booker T, and his finishing move, The Pounce, was genuinely exciting to watch.

After The New Breed

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for Cor Von. After The New Breed split, ‘The Alpha Male’ took time off to deal with personal issues, and following his release in September 2007, he retired from wrestling altogether, after spending just under a year in WWE. He now works as a personal trainer.
