Eddie Edwards Interview: Slammiversary, Davey Richards, Satoshi Kojima, And More

Now like last year, IMPACT, they're being a bit cheeky by teasing all the people who got released in April. Not to put you on the spot, but if you were Scott D'Amore, who are you bringing in?

Eddie: Oh, man. Is it just out of anybody who's out there?

We'll go with people who have been in the trailer.

Eddie: I think the good thing about right now in IMPACT is that it is a destination. IMPACT is now a place for guys to come and show what they can truly do. I don't necessarily know who I would pick. I'd sit down, crunch numbers, all that stuff, I'm not Scott, but for me, if somebody wants to be a part of IMPACT, somebody who wants to be along the lines of myself and Sami Callihan and Moose, guys who want to be a part of IMPACT Wrestling, that believe in what we're doing, and they want to come because they bet on themselves.

Guys who've left other companies because they want a chance of their own, they want to show what they can do. That's what IMPACT Wrestling is about, that's what we need. I welcome anybody from anywhere who wants to come here and show what they can do, and go out there and prove that they belong at the top of this business.

Great answer. I've just got one last question. We spoke about Kojima earlier and obviously he loves bread, so really important question, what's your favourite type of bread?

Eddie: Favourite type of bread? You know, I am a fan of the pretzel bun on a cheeseburger or a hamburger, so I'll put that out there, I am a big fan of that. What about you, what do you got?

Just a brioche roll for me, you know, keep it simple.

Eddie: There you go, keep it simple, I like it. #BreadClub.
