Interviewed by CBS Sports in the wake of his latest WWE comeback, Edge has named the wrestlers he most wants to share a ring with now that he is back on a full-time schedule.

'The Rated R Superstar' has AJ Styles and Seth Rollins at the top of his list:-

"I scratched the surface with AJ Styles and Seth Rollins just because of Rumbles. To me, both of those matches have to happen. They just have to."

The 2021 men's Royal Rumble winner went on, naming Cesaro, Riddle, Ricochet, Mustafa Ali, Daniel Bryan, Damian Priest, and Sami Zayn. Specifically, he'd love to do an Iron Man match with Bryan and was excited by the taste of facing Priest he got in the Rumble.

Regardless of whether or not Edge is able to wrestle all these people before riding off into the sunset, Edge is up for it:-

“In a perfect world, I can get in with every single one of them. It’s a little out of my control. But if I can get in with at least some of them and try to have some amazing stories in there, that’s part of why I came back, to just get in there and try to tell stories with new talent. Let me get in there with some people."

The great hope when a wrestler like Edge returns is that WWE will attempt to use his reputation and star power to build new stars. This is as important as ever, with this week's post-Rumble Raw down by around 500,000 viewers compared to the previous year.

As covered yesterday, Edge is expected to wrestle WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37.
