Edge Reveals Which ONE WWE Star He Can't Wait To Wrestle
Who's at the top of Mr. Rated-R Superstar's list?
Edge wants matches against Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Matt Riddle at some point during this second run, but there's one WWE star in particular he cannot wait to face in the ring.
Ricochet.
The comeback king Hall Of Famer (who is currently on the shelf recovering from torn triceps) told ESPN's Cheap Heat that the overlooked Raw high-flyer tops his list of current workers he'd love to wrestle. In fact, Edge told the show that he'd "die to get in the ring with him".
Ricochet was handed his very own WWE 365 special on the Network recently, and it showed a different side to him that some fans might not have known about. Edge wants to bring that passion to the fore and have a cracker with Rico at some point when he returns from injury.
There's no doubt that this is a huge compliment to Ricochet, and a match with someone so obviously high up the WWE food chain could do wonders for his career. Fingers crossed Edge has the power to push something like that through.
His excitement when speaking to ESPN suggests he'll try.
