Every 1-Time WWE Champion Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Chris Jericho

Eddie Guerrero
WWE

When it comes to historical title wins, few can match the significance of the night that Chris Jericho defeated both Stone Cold and The Rock back-to-back.

In the ashes of the much-maligned "Invasion" storyline of 2001, the WWF was left with two world championships - the WWF and WCW titles. Their solution was to unify them, so a tournament was set up for Vengeance that year with Chris Jericho scoring a shock victory to become Undisputed WWF Champion.

This was a huge moment in Jericho's career - to be chosen for this honour over the likes of Austin, Rock, and Kurt Angle. Sadly, the company failed to get behind Jericho during his time on top and his feud with and subsequent title loss to Triple H at WrestleMania X8 fell far of expectations.

Even so, he did main event The Show of Shows as world champion, an opportunity not many are afforded, and his victory at Vengeance helped draw a line under that era of wrestling.

Despite a disappoint title reign, Chris Jericho will always be remembered as the first ever Undisputed Champion... mainly because he brings it up all the time...
