2. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins

Former Shield duo Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are on fire at the moment. Both are more interesting than they've been in over a year, and it's all down to their reunion storyline, which the company have played perfectly. Instead of rushing to the conclusion, WWE have taken their time throughout, creating a series of moments that don't feel fake and manufactured, but natural and organic - a rarity for today's increasingly shallow product.

They'll likely reunite with Roman Reigns before eventually going their separate ways, resulting in a heel turn and a big singles match, possibly at WrestleMania. Regardless, they're one of the best things in the company right now, and their recent work has been tremendous.

Ambrose and Rollins' first big match with The Bar (SummerSlam) was excellent, but they took it to a new level at No Mercy, producing one of the year's best tag contests. Neither man has been this consistent for a long time, both inside the ring and out, and while the duo's brief lifespan prevents them from mounting a serious challenge for the number one spot, their excellence can't be denied.
