Every AEW Stable Ranked From Worst To Best
8. Jurassic Express
Utterly charming, Jurassic Express are virtually perfect as a plucky undercard babyface act.
If anything, AEW hasn't booked Marko Stunt to eat quite enough nasty sh*t. As illustrated via the first glimpse of the Kenny Omega heel turn, he is the perfect victim. The man is tiny, and he's polarising. But this works. He is sympathetic to those that like him, and it's funny watching him get trucked if you don't.
Luchasaurus isn't as over as he was when he exploded onto the scene in 2019, but he remains effective as a fun spot guy who shouldn't be capable of doing what he does. It's the sort of act that will never really go extinct.
The real star of the act - and one day, perhaps, the real star of the company - is Jungle Boy. He shouldn't be as sympathetic and good and good-looking as he is without breeding resentment. But he's Ricky Steamboat working PWG: almost the ideal modern babyface, in that he fuses the old appeal once thought lost under waves of modern cynicism with state-of-the-art work.
Together, they share an endearing chemistry that absolutely should not work in this hell-scape of a world.
That it does is quite special.
