Every AEW Tag Team Ranked From Worst To Best

20. Brian Cage and Ricky Starks

Taz's boys aren't the worst AEW tag team in terms of talent or how they've been presented thus far. No, they occupy the bottom spot because they've only had one match together since joining forces under the ECW legend, making it impossible to place them higher.

Starks and Cage's maiden voyage was a loss to Jon Moxley and Darby Allin, concluding with Ricky's back getting torn apart by Allin's thumb-tacked skateboard. Whether or not they'll continue primarily as a team or two singles wrestlers who occasionally come together remains to be seen. Cage's FTW Championship suggests the latter, though we could see either scenario play out.

19. #STRONGHEARTS

The global health crisis prevents international stars like PAC, Riho, and Bea Priestley from flying to the United States for AEW shows, with #STRONGHEARTS on that list as well.

These dudes were part-timers before the world went nuts anyway. CIMA, T-Hawk, and El Lindaman haven't wrestled for AEW since February, and haven't won a single match here. Their role as jobbers to the stars and extended period of inactivity necessitates a low ranking.

It's a shame, really, as #STRONGHEARTS have taken the Japanese independent scene by storm over the past few years, looking impressive in their fleeting AEW outings as well. A bigger role more never come, though.
