Every AEW Tag Team Ranked From Worst To Best

18. The Dark Order II

John Silver Alex Reynolds

Alex Reynolds and John Silver are booked as The Dark Order's goobers. They're a couple of pin-eaters, meatshields, and victims of Mr. Brodie Lee's Being The Elite bullying whose presentation belies their skill and experience, though their positioning isn't necessarily a problem. The former Beaver Boys are great at getting their heads kicked in.

Silver and Reynolds are a good enhancement tag team who burst into life even when their booked to lose, and were the first two wrestlers recruited into the Order by Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, and their then-mystery 'Exalted One.' They're extremely useful to have around and will continue doing a good job of putting other people over.

17. The Gunn Club

A weird pairing, this, as one would look at the father/son tandem and assume that elevating Austin Gunn would be the goal, with Billy there to provide the family rub and occasional nostalgia pop, though the former 'Mr. Ass' has been booked with greater frequency and prominence than his offspring. This week's Dark match was Austin's first since January, while Billy has been brawling with MJF on Dynamite.

Nonetheless, Gunn Club are a middling combination of a sentimental midcard favourite from days gone by and an exuberant young prospect whose ceiling remains unclear, despite his energy. The next 12-18 months will paint a better picture of where they stand.
