Every AEW Tag Team Ranked From Worst To Best

12. Private Party

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen were relative unknowns when Matt and Nick Jackson signed them at launch. They quickly exploded after being presented as one of AEW's hottest up-and-coming acts, particularly when they upset The Young Bucks in the original Tag Team Title tournament, though things have cooled off for them since then, leaving Private Party floating around the middle tiers.

There's work to be done with these raw athletes. They've got a great act and bring excitement and adrenaline every time, though Quen and Kassidy remain botch-prone and singular in their approach. Fortunately, they have the perfect mentor in Matt Hardy.

11. The Dark Order

The Dark Order's gimmick has stunk for most of the group's lifespan, starting with Evil Uno and Stu Grayson's disastrous 2019 debut. Those "who are you?!" chants can't be deleted from history and the road to recovery has been long, arduous, and full of potholes, though it feels like the Brodie Lee-helmed cult is finally on the right path.

Gimmick concerns aside, Uno and Grayson have always been a strong pairing. Their cohesion comes from years of experience teaming together on the indies, their work snaps and pops, and they never disappoint in the ring. A face turn prompted by Lee's escalating malevolence would suit them well, though copyright issues prevent them reverting to their old Super Smash Brothers gimmick.
