Every AEW Tag Team Ranked From Worst To Best
14. The Natural Nightmares
Dustin Rhodes is one of the most underrated professional wrestlers of all time and still a great worker at 51. Beyond that, his dual role as player-coach means he's amongst the most indispensable people on the payroll, as he imparts 32 years of knowledge and experience on AEW's young, unrefined gems.
His partner's charm comes from his rough edges, though QT Marshall works in a mid-level tag team. He, too, is a player-coach, making him more important behind the cameras than in front of them. The Natural Nightmares are a useful pairing, but unlikely to ever touch gold.
13. Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss
Though Jersey boys Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela looked like an odd couple act initially, the duo demonstrated considerable chemistry from their first match together, which may have convinced AEW officials to stick with them as a tag team. It makes sense, particularly with Janela's wheels spinning as a singles act.
Kiss and Janela are fun, exuberant, and exciting to watch. Their tandem is a great way to utilise one of modern wrestling's biggest self-starters and a personality-packed up-and-comer with buckets of charisma and athleticism. Again, they may never be top dogs, though they're definitely complimentary.
