Triple H got a monster reaction for winning the 2002 Royal Rumble before it was clear just how much his added muscle mass had reduced what he could realistically do between the ropes.

Between this and his Madison Square Garden return, Hunter had perhaps never been hotter but even sludgy portions of this Rumble itself highlighted the smoothness and snap he'd lost in his time away.
