Every Batista Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

9. 2048: Nowhere to Run

Blade Runner 2049
Warner Bros. Pictures

Only a short for Dave, this, but something that really caught critics and audiences off guard with the strength and subtly of his performance. The prelude feature to Blade Runner: 2049, 2048: Nowhere To Run introduces his Sapper Morton character in a way that gives incredible context to his short role in the movie proper.

Seeing an aging but still immensely dangerous android on the run from the authorities, Batista has astonishing depth across the entire 5 minutes. He's terrified, he's tense, he's nondescript, he's gentle, he's desperate, he's panicked and finally, he's brutal.

Despite only being the fraction the length of the final film, Dave arguably posts the single most accomplished performance of any wrestler in any movie. Given a bigger role in 2049, who knows what he could have done with the part.
