Part 1 of the culmination to 10 years of richly-layered, interwoven, shared-universe storytelling, Infinity War redefined what it was to be a comic book movie. Despite drawing the greatest movie cast ever assembled, Batista still managed to steal his scenes and easily walked away with the movie's best line. The now memed-to-death "why is Gamora".

His role in the follow up was limited, but here he felt like a small-but-important part of an even more important movie.
