Cody Hall exhibited little growth throughout his two-year Young Lion stint. Lacking in his father Scott's legendary charisma, the near seven-footer was positioned as Bullet Club's young enforcer but was too limited and stiff between the ropes to make any kind of lasting impression.

A serious injury suffered at Invasion Attack 2016 effectively brought his New Japan career to an end, as he was hurt catching a Young Bucks balcony dive. He'd never return to the promotion, who deleted his profile from their online roster in January 2017, and eventually re-emerged in Pro Wrestling NOAH two months later.
