6. Bad Luck Fale

Balor Bullet Club
NJPW

Bad Luck Fale has been Bullet Club's 'Underboss' since the stable's inception. It was his allegiance with Prince Devitt that kicked the whole thing off, and while he has always been a limited wrestler, Fale's significance within the group can't be denied.

A textbook monster heel, Fale struggles to impress against lower tier opposition, but always performs well when paired with the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada. The company protect him well, his Bad Luck Fall finisher is rarely kicked out of, and beating him is treated as a big deal. This means Fale is often thrown into high stakes matches to put the company's top guys over, and enhance his own prestige as he pushes them to the brink of defeat.

In terms of tangible success, Fale defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become IWGP Intercontinental Champion in June 2014, though he dropped the belt three months later. He's always booked strongly in the G1 Climax, and often goes over the company's biggest stars, keeping his threat level high. His basic skillset means he'll never be pushed all the way to the top, but he'll remain an effective enforcer for the duration of his run.
