Every Bullet Club Member Past & Present: Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Tama Tonga
Tama Tonga calls himself the 'Bullet Club OG,' and he isn't wrong. Haku's firstborn son joined BC the night they formed in May 2013, with him and Bad Luck Fale the only founding members left in the company. He represents the black and white to the fullest, and his partisan loyalty manifested during this year's G1 Climax tournament, when he brazenley questioned leader Kenny Omega's allegiance during their singles bout.
Tonga is widely considered one of New Japan's most underrated wrestlers. He's a unique performer who glides around the ring like nobody else in the business and has proven his ability to have a decent match with almost anybody in the company, but a big singles push has never materialised. Nonetheless, Tonga has remained a constant midcard presence through his run, with his career gaining significant traction from 2016 onward.
The 'Bad Boy' became an NJPW champion for the first time at Wrestle Kingdom 10, capturing the promotion's relatively meaningless 6-Man Tag Titles. He has since become a three-time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Champion alongside his brother, Tanga Loa, and posted a decent 4-5 record in the 2017 G1 Climax. Tonga will never be a main eventer, but his recent success, tenure, and importance to the group validate this high position.
