9. Cody Hall

The son of the legendary Razor Ramon (Scott Hall), Cody Hall made his first appearance as part of Bullet Club the night after Wrestle Kingdom 9 at the beginning of 2015.

He was introduced as Bullet Club's own personal young boy trainee, and would often accompany members to their matches and get involved whenever possible.

His positioning also meant that if you saw him taking part in a six-man tag match, there was a good chance that he would be the one taking the fall.

His early performances didn't inspire much hope, but over the course of 2015 the benefits of sharing the ring with some of the best in the game really started to pay off.

Coming into 2016, Cody was beginning to show real big man promise. He really grew into his role as a ringside enforcer for The Young Bucks, finally scoring his first win in April 2016.

All of this momentum would come grinding to a halt at Invasion Attack however, when he suffered a serious injury at the hands of a Young Buck dive.

Cody's condition has improved in the day since, but it may be a while before we see him back in a New Japan ring.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
