7. AJ Styles

It may come as a surprise to see AJ Styles so low on this list, especially considering his major standing whilst a part of Bullet Club.

He made his debut in New Japan as the new leader of the stable, won the IWGP World Heavyweight Title within a month of arriving and stayed near the top of the card until his departure in January of this year.

The truth is that despite these accolades (and AJ's performances in New Japan, performances that saw him rightly praised as the best in the world) AJ Styles always seemed like a strange fit for Bullet Club.

It is a familiar story for AJ. Very rarely has he worked better as a heel, and his time in so-called Biz Cliz was no exception.

This shouldn't take anything away from his performances, but AJ Styles and Bullet Club just didn't really fit together in hindsight. AJ is much better suited as a fan favourite getting his stuff done in the ring rather than an obnoxious smarmy heel.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
